Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Typeahead, a macOS desktop application developed by Noats Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing or using Typeahead, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

When you purchase Typeahead, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the software on your Mac computers, subject to these Terms.

• Typeahead licenses are one-time purchases with no recurring fees.
• Your license includes free updates for the lifetime of the product.
• Your license is activated with a unique license key tied to your email address.

Permitted use

You may:

• Install and use Typeahead on any Mac you personally own
• Use Typeahead for personal, educational, or commercial purposes
• Make backup copies of the application for archival purposes

Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, sublicense, sell, or transfer Typeahead or your license key to another person
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of Typeahead
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use Typeahead in any way that violates applicable law or regulation

Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with Typeahead for any reason, email hello@typeahead.ai and we will work with you to make it right.

Updates

Typeahead may periodically check for software updates via the Sparkle update framework. Updates are optional and installed only with your consent. Your license entitles you to all future updates at no additional cost.

Intellectual property

Typeahead, including its name, logo, design, and code, is the intellectual property of Noats Inc. Your purchase grants a license to use the software — it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to how Typeahead works. The software processes all text locally on your Mac and never sends your writing data to any server. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

Typeahead is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Typeahead will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noats Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of Typeahead. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using Typeahead and delete all copies. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing law survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of Typeahead after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
