Activating your license key

When you purchase Typeahead, you receive a license key by email. You enter it once on first launch.

What the key looks like

License keys use this format: TA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Check your purchase confirmation email. It comes from hello@typeahead.ai.

How to activate

When you open Typeahead for the first time, an activation window appears automatically. Paste your license key and click Activate. Typeahead verifies the key online once, then works offline indefinitely.

After activation

Your key is saved in macOS Keychain. You will not need to enter it again after reinstalls, app updates or Mac restores from Time Machine. Typeahead finds it automatically.

Using your license on multiple Macs

One license covers one Mac at a time. If you are moving to a new Mac, email hello@typeahead.ai with your purchase email address and we will transfer the license.

Lost your license key?

Check your purchase confirmation email first. If you cannot find it, email hello@typeahead.ai with the email address you used to buy Typeahead. We will resend the key.

Prompted for your key again?

If Typeahead asks for your license key after a reinstall or a migration to a new Mac, it means the Keychain entry was not carried over. Enter the key from your original purchase email. It will activate and save to Keychain again.
